Central Saint Martin's graduate collection, "Glass Mass"

The focal inspiration for Anastasia's graduate collection was 15th century Murano glass, Russian porcelain chandeliers, with hints of Evangelistic vestments and 90’s supermodel glamour. Combining the regal qualities of chandeliers and clerical vestments led to 3D silver woven application onto knitted stockings, briefs and bandeau. The colour scheme was around Marie Laurencin paintings with hints of Yves Klein Blue for balance.  In keeping with the reflective decoration she developed a series of laser etched and cut motifs onto mirrored acrylic for the stole of the cope and melted Murano into  original glass droplets for the veil, which was embelished with 300 murano pieaces.
